That Man Is You (TMIY) is a Catholic men's program for parishes and groups which is produced by Paradisus Dei. That Man Is You provides rich Catholic content that leads to thoughtful and life-giving conversations, bringing about deep transformation. What began with a foundational message on leadership, and the scriptural vision of man has grown to include 30+ world-class presenters from a variety of backgrounds who clearly and dynamically present the truths of the faith in a way that moves hearts and renews minds. Each program year is centered around a key theme, with 26 sessions spread across fall and spring.
Combining the latest science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints, Becoming a Man After God’s Own Heart develops the vision of man. It makes an honest assessment of the challenges men face and provides a practical path to transformation by focusing on their relationship with God and introducing the 7 Steps to Superabundance.
Journey from fear to fearless worship, from a lifeless corpse hanging on the cross to an empty tomb, from Apostles hiding in the upper room to proclaiming the risen Lord to the ends of the earth! Beginning with Christ to the Apostles, to the Apostolic Fathers, to the men of our day, God hasn’t stopped calling us! Let us become who we were made to be and set the world on fire. May we become Apostles of the New Springtime!
1) Can I join at any time?
Yes, there are Fall and Spring Semesters containing 13 Sessions each. Each year has its own theme, but each session is also stand-alone. Participants may attend as many (or few) sessions as they choose, and it will not negatively impact their understanding of the content.
2) How do I join?
Free registration is requested. This mainly helps us send out emails for the next session's topic and speaker. Interested men may simple show up on scheduled Saturday mornings, without prior registration.
3) When are meetings?
Meetings are on scheduled Saturday mornings from 7am to 8am at St. Joseph's. Check bulletins or newsletters for scheduled dates.
5) Is there a significant time commitment outside of meetings?
No. No homework!
6) Do I need to be Catholic to join, or is TMIY open to all men of the community?
The TMIY program definitely provides Catholic content for men interested in pursuing their potential in alignment with God's holy will. Scriptural based vision and leadership qualities for men are explored and discerned in the program. The sessions are open to all men, but adult male Catholic participants would most appreciate the benefits by attending.
